With a background as CTO and CEO of Sorex Sensors and over a decade of research at Cambridge and UPM, Mario now drives the Spanish growth of the company, focusing on scalable, fault-tolerant quantum computing.

As Managing Director, Mario is spearheading the development of photonic integrated circuits (PICs) for Nu Quantum’s systems, anchoring Spain as a strategic hub for quantum innovation in Europe. He is building a world-class team and forging partnerships with leading universities, research centres, and industry players to position Spain at the heart of the $44B quantum networking market.
