The first edition of the Valencia Silicon Forum was held in April 2024 in the main auditorium of the Valencian Business Confederation. The forum focused specifically on the presentation of the three new university-business chairs established by Valencia Silicon Cluster, the University of Valencia and the Polytechnic University of Valencia, in application of the PERTE Chip, with a budget of over 15 million euros. These are the Chairs of Advanced Materials for Microchips and UV Semiconductors, the VaSiC UPV Chair of Microelectronic Design and the UPV Chair of Photonic Chips.

The event was attended by the President of Valencia Silicon Cluster, Mayte Bacete; the President of the Valencian Regional Government GVA, Carlos Mazón; the Secretary of State for Telecommunications, María González Veracruz; the Government Delegate in the Valencian Community, Pilar Bernabé; the Rector of the University of Valencia, María Vicenta Mestre; the Rector of the Polytechnic University of Valencia, José Capilla; and the President of the Valencia Business Confederation, Eva Blasco. The event was hosted by Carlos G. Triviño, Secretary of the Valencia Silicon Cluster.
