Bernie has over 35yrs of semiconductor industry experience, working as an engineer, engineering group manager, researcher, research manager and talent pipeline development program manager since graduating with a Masters degree in Engineering.

27yrs were spent with Intel Ireland where he was involved in the continual impactful growth of the industry, resulting in a world now very reliant on semiconductors. Latterly, he built strategic partnerships across Ireland, Germany and Poland with key Universities and Vocational Schools developing engaging interactions to build awareness and talent for the industry.

Bernie is currently Senior Manager for University Programs and Talent Initiatives at SEMI Europe GmbH, using his knowledge and experience to continue the drive to develop a strong, diverse, and excited semiconductor talent pipeline for Europe’s future ambitions.
