Empar Martínez Bonafé

Empar has an Advanced Management Program (PADE) in Business Administration from ESADE and a degree in Psychology from the University of Valencia. She is an expert in innovation, governance, strategy, and the development of broad-ranging programs and projects. Her career highlights include holding several senior positions within the Valencian Regional Government, among them Secretary for Economic Affairs at the Department of Sustainable Economy, Productive Sectors, Trade and Consumer Affairs (2021–2023), and Director General of Industry, Energy, and Mines (2018–2021).
In the private sector, she served as CEO of Florida Universitària, a cooperative educational group, for 13 years. She was also part of the executive boards of various business and social economy organizations, actively assuming leadership roles in different governing bodies, including the Governing Council of Consum, S. Coop, the presidency of EVAP and the Torrent Managers’ Club, and the vice-presidency of BPW Spain (Business and Professional Women).
Additionally, she was a founding member and board member of ASCES (Association for Social Economy Cooperation), chairwoman and board member of GESCOSA, and served on the Boards of Directors of CACSA, CIEGSA, and the Valencian Community’s Thematic Projects Corporation, among others.
