Rosa María Donat Beneito is Vice-Rector for Innovation and Knowledge Transfer at the University of Valencia and a Full Professor of Applied Mathematics. Her research focuses on numerical methods for partial differential equations, especially multiresolution techniques for fluid dynamics and image processing. She holds degrees from the University of Valencia and the University of California, Los Angeles, where she earned her Ph.D. She has led numerous national and European research projects and was the first woman to preside over the Spanish Society of Applied Mathematics.
